Because I can...

...wear panties around my neck.

I want to thank my sister who came to watch Ivy while I had jury duty one day. She managed to keep 3 kids 3 and under and they were all still alive when we got home. Although the water in the bathroom was running (and there is no telling how long it had been running), everyone was in one piece, and no one had to go to the hospital. Good job auntie L. She even managed to take some pictures.

Because I am cool like that...

Updates

Here are some pictures.

Getting ready to go on her first outing with someone other than a family member (without mommy and daddy too!)

Isn't this what you are supposed to do with a potty?

Baby girl also got in the shower with me this weekend. We don't have a regular bathtub shower, we have a square. So, there is not much room to move around especially when you add her in there. She just sat in the corner while I took a shower. I think she thought it was pretty neat.

It is amazing how much fun a car seat can be when it is not in the car.

A funny little video also.

Our new toy

We saw this at a yard sale. DH went back later to get it and the woman tells him that if you put batteries in it, El.mo will giggle. Then she warned him, you should just leave the batteries out. Well, that takes all of the fun out of it.

Swimming Lessons or Bath time?

You decide.

I saw this on another blog and thought it was hilarious. So, we decided to try it. She absolutely loved it!

Baby girl say's "Surely you don't think I did this?"

"I don't know how I got up here, but it sure is cool!!!"

Things to Remember

Yesterday (8/19/09) Baby girl said "Thank You" for the first time. I had given her the toothbrush and said thank you to her and she repeated it back to me. She also did it for daddy that afternoon.

Last night, she started "dancing and singing". She was standing in the kitchen and she started swaying back and forth lifting her feet up each time and "singing". Now I have NO idea what song she was sining and it will probably be a while before I do, but it was so cute.

This morning she was sitting in her chair, and leaning forwards and backwards, over and over again. I then realized she was saying Rock, rock, rock, rock. Like we do when we are the rocking chair.

My child is a GENIUS!!!

Well, all of a sudden...

...She had been taking a couple steps here and there, but then I pick her up from school, and this is what the teacher had caught...

At the end you can see how well she listens!

This one is better. It takes a second to get going (b/c she has to get her ready again!)
